LOWBROW- MAY 3, 2009 ART SHOW

Artist: Alan Peck/ menacingtourist.com

Once again Paul Vincent Studios/Gallery opens its doors to host another one day only art show. Lowbrow is an art movement within the origins of underground comics, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and is often known by the name "pop-surrealism". Inspired by the art created within this movement, we have created a multi-media show that will really open your eyes to new artists all around you. We received hundreds of submissions from all over the tri-state area and narrowed it down to 16 amazing artists. The Studio and Gallery are grateful for all the interest and continuous support from the surrounding artists as well as Hoboken itself.

Resident curator, Tara Thurber, will be there to assist you if you have any question is regards to buying pieces, meeting artists, or setting up your own show. All artwork is for sale.

There is a $5.00 door charge/donation and light food and beverages will be served.

We are also pleased to announce that May 3rd is the Hoboken Arts and Music Festival. So now there are multiple reasons to be in Hoboken and supporting the arts. YAY ART!!!!

Paul Vincent Studios/Gallery is available to rent as a photo studio. Please feel free to inquire about the space while you are there. We have hosted many different events, shoots, and shows. Let us help you put together your next artistic project.
